The weather has been a bit grey of late and already I'm getting bored of sunshine being replaced by threatening grey clouds. It's also incredibly frustrating- I had to put the washing on the line and take it down 3 times today because of precarious weather! What a life I lead at the moment...
However, there was a break in the rain after dinner (and How To Look Good Naked...) so I jumped at the opportunity of a half an hour bike ride up the motor road behind my estate. It's the easiest (and my favourite) place to cycle as it is so nearby and provides incredible views of my town and surroundings, even on the not so clear days. I managed to catch the "sunset" behind the clouds which created some wonderful pinkish light as I cycled upwards. The pictures aren't great quality as they're only taken on my phone. I am still deliberating whether to purchase a Holga camera on ebay or not, just because I love the dreamy, overly-exposed grainy images they produce.
I hope to be able to look back on these when I'm away from Sussex and clearly remember the great feeling of whizzing down the road on a bike after reaching the top of the hill.
I hope my first post hasn't been too boring.
KM.
In addition- the new Bombay Bicycle Club album "Flaws" has arrived on Spotify, and even after one listen I can see it becoming a summer '10 favourite. Very impressed.
